New Song?

Ok, just to warn you, I'm experimenting with surrealism here. So don't look too deeply for the meaning I intend. You have to find your own meaning, your own associations between the images. Anyway, comment if you have any suggestions.

The heart of the blaze

(intro, maybe piano, foreshadows harmony of transition)

(verse 1)
dark shadows from the mountain
illuminate your lips that drink in everything
where the caravans come calling
to that spot what sweet songs they bring

(chorus)
carry me, carry me
on wings of paper and glass
and build a thousand fickle flowers in the sun

go ahead, go ahead
drink in that light at long last
and feel what it is you have become

(verse 2)
grey anchors cold and rusting
find purchase in the warmth of your veins
those handsome gold imposters
shower praise whenever it rains

(repeat chorus)

(transition)
in the heart of the blaze lies the lion
waiting for an island to call his very own

(verse 3)
chips of white leather in a basket
how I'm longing to taste them endlessly
take my eyes from their glances
what justice when the careless flee

(repeat chorus)

(outro?)

Pretty words but what the heck does it all mean?
