Baby Steps

(Channeling Bill Murray here) I've decided to make one new healthy goal every month. The idea is to exercise my willpower over smaller disciplines, and to hopefully create habits that free up that willpower for the next month, and the next.

So this month's new goal is: Exercise 3 times a week. That's it. Not too hard, considering I was going 5 times a week at least for a while.

I'll let you know how it goes. Feel free to rag on me if I slip up; I need the motivation.

i would say this is a good idea. grand, even.

especially considering that if you dont start on some sort of exercise routine, a person not to be named—who has never played a competitive match of tennis, or even volleyed for more than 5 minutes, total, in his life—will beat you.

You know, I could defend my tennis expertise here, but I'm not quite sure you're wrong in your assessment, so I'll be safe and stay quiet.
