Of all my ethnicities, I'm mostly Irish (over 25%, in fact). My grandmother on my dad's side was a full Irish beauty. I can imagine why my grandfather fell for her.
I didn't know her very well, but according to my dad St. Patrick's day was one of her favorite holidays. So here's to you, grandma! You are certainly missed.
