The Graveyard

At the intersection of Sunfish Lake and Kreuter (this is out in Belmont where my parents live, near Rockford) there is a very old, small cemetery. My dad and I went for a walk on Sunday around the area and this is the first place we stopped.



He thought that this gravestone was the funniest thing ever. "What if that hand should be pointing the other way?"



This one just says "father".



My dad speculated that this was uprooted by the giant pine tree it is sitting against.



The hand thing was a popular motif. I saw some Freemason symbols too on some of the gravestones.
