Newest developments

Hello, world. It's been a while, hasn't it? Just wanted to keep you and future me updated on how things are going. Work is fine, though a couple of my favorite people are leaving. Erin is as usual the perfect girl for me! I'm still keeping up with my diet and exercise- ran 4 miles today, and weighed in at 186 just before (that's down 23, but who's counting).

Let's ignore the sheer number of clichés in that opening paragraph and move on, shall we?

The cat is always sneaking around trying to eat our food or sit in our laps or sleep next to our heads. She likes my new chair very much. It is the chair I got from ikea (finally) that is to serve as a reading chair... for Erin.



In addition to the new chair we also purchased a handsome desk. On this desk I have set up my recently inherited, very gently used 23 inch studio display (hawt) and 1.42 GHz dual G4. No kidding, my parents are awesome. This has improved my photo processing tremendously!



This involved a long Sunday of driving, attempting to arrive at consensus regarding furniture to purchase, driving, trashing unwanted items, and assembling. And, perhaps at times when it was *cough* necessary, disassembling and reassembling correctly.



I have to go now though. I have set a goal to complete 100 push-ups within the hour, and I am only at 60 with 15 minutes to go (I am working in sets of 20). Until next time, dear readers.
