Lots of parking



Err, not quite what I meant. Today was national Park(ing) day: Turning parking spots into green space as a way to challenge our ideas about urban areas.

I met Erin downtown at lunch time, along with some fellow Meijer tweeps. This was Herman Miller's space, full of expensive, trendy-looking modern furniture.



What a great lunch break! It was relaxing and fun to spend an hour or two outside with a few fellow photographers. Here's to hoping that we can build more public green-space to spend our lunch hour in!
