ok, so soup turned out great. tofu is a really amazing thing- the recipe called for liquified tofu, and it really gave the consistency and sensation of cream. the one exception was that when the entire soup was pureed, i imagined it being just a tad thinner, and i can only help but feel that the tofu made it a bit too thick in this respect. either way i loved it, and i will have to check out some more vegan recipes in the future!

erin is visiting with liz and i'm working on a technical design (redesign) that has all of a sudden become super urgent even though i told them this was the way to do it a year ago. heading to my parents' later for dinner and for some scanning fun. i believe erin is going to use their garage to build an herb dryer. yay!
