Capitalist Sellouts

For some reason when my primary communication with people is through instant messenger, I have a hard time mentally positioning them in a specific place around the world. So when I signed on to Pidgin last night, I saw Dima online and realized his physical form was actually manifested in Chicago. True friend that he is, he delayed his other plans to get together with me. So I hopped on the Blue Line from the basement of the hotel.



Dima lives in downtown Chicago, literally across the street from the lake. His view from the 24th floor is amazing:

We caught up, made turkish coffee, sipped some fine cognac, and got midnight sushi. Dima's doing work he enjoys, and makes good money doing it: that's all I can really wish for anyone. We did agree, though, that we are both capitalist sellouts- which is ironic, since Dima is also a Commie. Back in the USSR, they drank real Vodka!
