With nary a clean pair of pants remaining between us, Erin and I decided upon an emergency laundry run to my parents' house. The machines in our apartment complex keep staining our clothes with grease or some other dark, oily substance, so risking any further clothing damage is something we wanted to avoid.
My dad knows how to smile for the camera, that's for sure.
He used to own a coffee shop, and decided to keep the backup espresso machine when the store closed. He had it installed in his kitchen, so we can make really good espresso at our leisure. Magnifico!
Conan is one of my parents' yippy little dogs. He's kind of afraid of me, but at the same time curious. This means he's frequently peering at me from around corners or other safe, strategic locations.
My sister brought over her dogs later in the day when she came by for dinner. This is Maverick, the most unfortunate looking dog in the universe, perhaps. It's next to impossible to keep all of these animals off the furniture.
Her other dog Tracer is practically feral, but he is pretty cute.
